This is the second time we have been to Silver Springs. Though we had really good animals this time including over 50 monkeys, a river otter and manatee mom and baby when we went last June there was more birds and the Male Wood Ducks were in their breeding plumage. I had been looking for somewhere to camp for my birthday and all the parks were booked but a spot opened a month or so ago so I booked it as we had a great time here last June. Friday we paid to get picked up at the boat ramp 8 miles down river. Saturday we just did the loop two times. Each day had it highlights.
